Practical Outputs Supporting Digital Twin Integration in VET

DigiSmart4.0 aims to modernize vocational education by developing practical, transferable and sustainable outputs that support the integration of Digital Twin and smart manufacturing technologies into VET systems.

The project produces applied training resources, pilot implementation results, and institutional capacity-building tools designed to strengthen Industry 4.0 readiness.

1. Digital Twin-Based VET Training Module

This output represents the core educational component of DigiSmart4.0.

The module covers:

  • Foundations of Digital Twin technology

  • Smart manufacturing systems and IoT integration

  • Simulation-based modelling using Siemens NX and Ansys Twin Builder

  • AI-supported production processes
